Moong dal
Rawa
Ghee of sufficient quantity
Cashew nuts
Pepper, pepper powder
Cumin seeds
Curry leaves
Salt of sufficient quantity
Preparation Method
In a pan with heavy bottom, your need to fry the moong dal until, it converts into golden red color.
Now the moong dhal should be pressure cooked, then pounded and placed it away.
Now include some rawa and ghee to the pan, and then stir fry, until it converts into golden brown in color.
Then include pepper, cumin seeds, and also pepper powder with some salt to the ghee. Now pour 6 cups of water into the mixture.
Once the water begins to boil, include the rawa that is fried, blend it thoroughly, then add a few curry leaves and allow it for some time to get cooked.
Now the tasty Rawa pongal is all prepared and with coconut chutney it can be served.
