The Mango Dhal
The mango Dahl is an easy delicious side dish. It is a mouth watering tasty dish.
Ingredients
One Raw mango
2 cups of tuar Dhal
5 Nos. of green chillies
3 cloves of garlic
4cups of water
1 tsp of urad dal.
1 pinch of turmeric powder.
1 tsp of mustard seeds
Curry leaves
1 pinch of turmeric powder
1 tsp of cumin seeds
3 Nos. of red chillies
1 tsp of oil
Salt to taste.
Preparation method
The mango skin should be peeled off and then cut into small pieces in the form of ice-cubes.
Add water to the taur dhal and then add turmeric powder. Cook the mixture. The mango slices should be added to the mixture and cook till the mango slices become tender. Add some green chillies to the tender mango slice mixture. For a few minutes cook the mixture Heat some oil for tampering. Add a few garlic cloves, mustard seeds, urad dhal, red chillies, and cumin seeds and curry leaves.
Decant the dhal. It can be served hot with rice.
