Raghi Drumstick leaf Adai

The Raghi Drumstick leaf Adai is a delicious food that can be used as morning breakfast and in the evening as tiffen. It is also very good for health.


The ingredients needed to prepare the Adai are
One cup of Raghi flour
One cup of Drumstick leaves
¼ cup of chopped curry leaves
6 to 8 pieces of finely chopped green chilies
Finely chopped red onions.
Salt to tats
One cup of oil


Preparation Method
Heat a few drops of oil in a pan. Then add onion. Green chilies and drumstick leaves.
For sometime fry these items. Than to the Raghi flour adds these items. Now uniformly blend these items.
Now add some salt. Then gradually add water in little amounts and then make thick dough.
Now take a piece of cloth. The cloth should be clean than spread the cloth over the inverted bowl. Water should than be sprinkled on the bowl.
The cloth should be damp but not dripping with water.
Take the dough pluck it, knead it, roll and make it into small balls.
Now place the ball over the damp cloth and then pat, spread it into flat adais.(The adais are like dosais but is somewhat thicker than dosais).
Now heat a taw or a skillet Oil should be added to the vessel .Make sure that the stove is at average flame.
Now on the tawa place the adai Allow it to get cooked and now than turn to the other side.
You need to sprinkle oil along the edges.
Over an average flame you need to cook for considerably longer time since raghi takes a bit longer time to get cooked.
You can use it as morning breakfast or as evening refreshment.
