Baking powder of 1 teaspoon quantity
Glace cherries of one cup quantity

Currants of 3 cups quantity
Maida of 2 cups quantity

One lemon with skin grated.
Juice of one lemon.
Preparation Method
Cream butter and sugar collectively until they are spongy and light.
Slowly add the beaten eggs.
Then sift the Maida, cardamom, almond nutmeg and the baking powder collectively and then steadily add it to the mixture of butter.
Then gradually add the cleaned dry fruits.
Then add the almonds, juice and the lemon peel.
Then line up a cake tin of 16 x 20 cm in dia. On a high oven bake it for one hour and then in medium oven bake it for two hours.
The cake is ready to be served for 10 persons.
