The open Sandwich with chilled mushrooms.
If you are an ardent mushroom lover, then you will really enjoy this delicious recipe. Make sure you do not cook the sandwich for a longtime, it will get waterlogged. Likewise, once you have prepared the sandwich, roll it in a foil and keep it in your refrigerator. You can use the it as your evening 4pm snack item.
Ingredients required for stuffing
Chopped khumbh (mushrooms) in 4 cups
Olive oil of 4 tablespoon quantity
Chili Garlic sauce (lehsun) of 1 tablespoon quantity
Tomatoes of ¼ cup quantity sliced into cubes.
Some salt for taste.
Other ingredients required
4 slices of whole wheat bread
Stuffing preparation method
In a deep non stick pan, heat the oil, then include the tomatoes and mushrooms and gently cook for 4 to 5 minutes on an average flame, or until the water gets evaporated and the mushrooms becomes dried up, whilst infrequently stirring it.
Then include the salt, chili sauce, and on a medium flame cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
From the flame, remove the sandwich mixture and place it aside until it becomes cool.
Then place it in your refridgerator for atleast one hour
Then the stuffing should then be split into 4 equivalent potions and placed aside.
Prior to the serving, jut apply the filing of ¼ cup quantity on each bread slice
The snack can be served at once
