For a Happy Life
KKMA launches Model NRI Project

The Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA), a leading social welfare organization of Indians in Kuwait recently conducted a series of training and awareness camp for its members and well-wishers in Kuwait.   The events were part of its social change initiative dubbed as “Mathruka Pravasi Padhati” (Model NRI Project).

The project aims to make a positive impact on the lives of NRIs particularly in the field of education, health and economy and to guide them to reach the objective of “a happy life for his family”.

As part of the awareness campaign of the project, KKMA in association with Center for Information Guidance India (CIGI) has launched a number of awareness campaigns since the beginning of the year.  CIGI is an umbrella forum of scholars and social workers in Kerala with expertise to train multi-level community groups.  Family meetings, awareness campaigns, debates and coaching classes for all members in Kuwait and their dependants in India shall be continued in coming months.

In the next phase of the project, KKMA and CIGI shall develop training and workshop modules to encourage NRIs to broaden their knowledge and self-realization possibilities, foster their self-confidence and sense of pride, face up to the difficulties and challenges in the process of development, and enable them to be self-reliant.
Given below are some pictures taken from four different events held in Kuwait last week, namely NRI Family Meet, NRI Bachelor Meet, NRI Students Meet and NRI Leaders Meet.
