IPC-IMA Summer Islamic Classes award conferral program

IMA  held a grand function to felicitate the students who have secured outstanding marks in the recently held it’s ‘Summer Islamic Classes - 2010. The function was held in Jamiatul Islah Auditorium– Rawdah. The successful students of the classes were appreciated by awards along with certificates of excellence. The special awards were given to the rank holders.

Since last 17 years IMA in coordination with IPC is offering the children a platform to enhance their talents in rightly guided Islamic way. This year the students turned out in record number and took advantage of this program despite the sweltering heat.

The program commenced with the recital of verses from the Noble Qur’an by Master Abdul Rashid which mesmerized the audience. The same verses were   translated in English by Master Mohammed Amin Siddiqui.

Children greeted the audience by singing “Eiden Sayeedun” and relived the joy and happiness of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Mr. Syed Ahmed Ali delivered the school report detailing  its performance and activities. He praised  the determined efforts of the school teachers for imparting the Islamic education in a most professional way by committing themselves selflessly to the cause.  He also thanked parents and students for their continued support and congratulated them on their success.

Various other  songs were sung and skits enacted by children to rejoice everyone in the auditorium.  The Dawah Skit “Imam and Son’ caught attention of the one and all.

Master Rehan held the audience spell bound by speech on “ Our relationship with people belonging to different faiths”.

Mr.Khalid  Saba, Manager, Community Affairs Dept, Islam Presentation Committee graced the event as a Guest of Honor.  He praised  Indian Muslim Association’s continuous efforts in raising awareness of Islam among the expatriate students.  He also gave away the Certificates of Honor and Prizes to those who excelled in their examinations. Mr.Mohammed Aslam, President, Indian Muslim Association and Mr.Khalilullah Khan  too shared the stage during this gracious occasion.

Around 500 people comprising of parents, teachers, students and well wishers attended and cheered the students during their performances on stage.

IMA has been offering these services of summer Islamic classes since last 17 years, and this year  the students turned out in record number and took advantage of this program despite the sweltering heat.

Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed convened the program and thanked the guests, dignitaries, teachers, parents, office staff and all the other well wishers for their full fledged and whole hearted support for the success of this Summer Islamic school program.   Refreshments were served at the end.
