Blood Donation Campaign Organized in Coordination with Muthamizh Aringar Narpani Mandram & Udhavum Kaigal – Kuwait


On (Friday) 30th July, 2010, Muthamizh Aringar Narpani Mandram (MANM) in coordination with Udhavum Kaigal (UK) organized a Blood Donation Campaign at the Central Blood Bank, Jabriya, Kuwait.  It was proud to mention that, there were many Tamilians who participated very happily in this campaign.

This campaign was jointly organized by Mr. K. Jayabalan, President of Muthamizh Aringar Narpani Mandram in coordination with Mr. Rajendran, Founder of Udhavum Kaigal and was supported  by  the  Mandram  Secretary, Mr. Sheikh Adam and Deputy Secretary Mr. Natarajan.  Mr. Mathivanan, P.R.O., Mr. Sendhai Raveendar, Mr. Iqbal and Mr. Murugan were the active participants.

Nevertheless to mention  that the  support of  Volunteers Solapuram Mr. I Zahirudeen, Karaikal Mr. S.M. Arif Maricar, Swamimalai Mr. H. Jahir Husain Mrs. Anni Francis,  Mrs. Devi Ravi, Professor Doctor Balmanuvel, Mr. Khalil Bhagavi, Mr. David, Mr. Louis Francis Rozario and Mr. Ganesh Mathiyalagan was fruitful throughout the campaign.

Welcome  Reception by  Proprietor,  Mr. Baluswamy,  President  of  Ponghu  Thamizh Mandram, Thamizh Nadana  Paavalar  Engr. Mr. Vidhyasagar,  Proprietor,  Mr. Almaaz Mustafa, Engr.  Mr.  Rajasekharan,  Engr.  Mr. P. Sekar,  Engr.  Mr. Chandran,  Mr. Alauddin (TVS), Mr. Kamala Kannan participated to make the function a special occasion.

To interestingly begin, we had organized a buffet breakfast and tea at the hospital for all participants and very specially to encourage and appreciate our blood donor’s - Certificates (issued by both Mandrams – (MANM & UK),  memento,  fruit bags  and  juices were distributed to more than 100 blood donors on (Friday) 30th July, 2010.

In conclusion, at the Campaign, we had the Chief Doctors, of the Central Blood Bank Hospital expressing his regrets for those blood donors who were unable to donate blood due to certain unforeseen reasons and he also expressed his appreciation for this good act of blood donation campaign organized by both Mandrams – (MANM & UK).

Further, during the discussions about the advantage and disadvantage of this campaign, it was surprising to hear everyone in the advisory committee say they had the same notion appreciable.  Finally, the campaign dismissed with the vote of thanks by Mr. K. Jayabalan, President (MANM).
