MISK – Majlis Ihya'u Sunna Kuwait (An unified Sunna Revival Council of Kuwait) arranged a special program for the remembrance of Badr Warriors Day (Badr Sahaba day) which was held on 27th August 2010 at Kuwait Teachers Society auditorium from 9:30 p.m till 12:30 a.m.

Moulana Moulavi T.P. Abdul Latif Kasimi (President – MISK) presided over the function. Janab Alhaj Kabeer Ali (Treasurer – MISK) recited the holy verses on beginning. Janab M. Muneer Ahmed welcomed everyone and anchored the whole program. Janab Bari Hazrath (Vice President – MISK) delivered the opening address. Moulana Moulavi Qari Syed Ali Baqavi ( Coordinator – MISK) Moulana Moulavi Mohammed Ajwad Raiwindi ( Vice President – MISK) delivered the special addresses where they pointed out the Muslims' beginning stage and the lessons out of this test. The great battle took place in between Haq(Truth)  and Bathil (Falsehood) on Friday 17th March 624 A.D (2 A.H) in a winter season at Valley of Badr. The battle of Badr was the most important among the Islamic battles of Destiny. For the first time the followers of the new faith were put into a serious test. Had victory been the lot of the pagan army while the Islamic Forces were still at the beginning of their developments, the faith of Islam could have come to an end. This battle laid the foundation of the Islamic State and made out of the Muslims a force to be reckoned with by the dwellers of the Arabic Peninsula.

During the program, a special Re-edition of (MISK) with the title of RAMADAN AND TARAWEEH were released by Moulana Moulavi T.P. Abdul Latif Kasimi (President – MISK) the first copy received by Lucky Press Janab Sulaiman Batcha, the 2nd copy by Al-Safi Restaurant Proprietor Janab Delhi Basha (Abdul Kadir), 3rd Copy by Mohamed Bander R.M. Farook, 4th Copy by TMCA President N.A.M. Abdul Aleem and 5th Copy by TVS Group Janab Rasheed Khan (Son in Law of Alhaj Hyder Ali).

Moulana Moulavi T.P. Abdul Latif Kasimi (President – MISK) delivered the closing address, while he mentioned the benefits of (Du'a) supplication that he indicated the narration of the Hadith " the Supplication is the weapon of the believers".  Sathiramanai Hasan Mohammed ( Joint Secretary – MISK) delivered the vote of thanks and program ended with the Du'a (Supplication) by Moulana Moulavi Mohammed Ali Rashadi ( Joint Secretary – MISK).

Hundreds of men and women including many prominent personalities in Kuwait were benefitted by attending this wonderful program. The Suhoor Meal packs were delivered to all the attendees by Al-Shafi Restaurant.
