Visa Information for Finland
Passport necessities
All national should possess a valid passport.
The nationals of the following countries can furnish alternative identification documents other than passports : Austria, Andorra, Bulgaria, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Gibraltar France, Guadeloupe, Greece, Iceland, Hungary, Ireland, Liechtenstein Italy, Malta, , Luxembourg, Monaco, Martinique, , Norway, Netherlands Réunion, San Marino Romania, Switzerland , Spain, Sweden, , United Kingdom.
The citizens of, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary Greece, Latvia, Malta Lithuania, the Slovak Republic, Poland, Slovenia need a passport. The spouse of the alien and his kid below 16 year are permitted to travel with holder of the passport ,provided their names and D.O.B are present in the passport , together with the spouse photos, and photographs of any kids below 7 years.

The citizens of the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Malta, Slovenia, the Slovak Republic, and the UK need a passport. Except for the citizens of Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden all other country citizens must require a visa, if they intend to work in Finland during their period of stay.

If the applicant is a student, a letter from the institution he is going to study should be furnished.
If he is going to work, then he should furnish an original invitation letter from the company he is going to work.
If the applicant is below 18 years, then he has to furnish a letter from his university or school he is studying or a permission letter from both his parents, along with their photos.
Validity period for Visa.
90 days validity period for tourist visa.

35EUR for Tourist Visa
35 EUR for Student Visa.
For private and tourist visa, a standardized form of visa, the Schengen visa is issued. The fees for visa may differ depending on the exchange rate. It costs € 20 for transfer of visa. The wives and kids for certain EU citizens and other countries can get their visa free of cost.
