Virgin Islands National park

Virgin Islands National park is a well-known tourist destination in the United States encompassing sixty percent of the St.John Island and some remote spots in the adjoining St.Thomas Island.


The place is famed for snorkeling, scuba diving and boasts of having miles hiking tracks through tropical woods.


Trunk bay

It is one of the most renowned attractions in Virgin Islands National park. It has a white sand beach and an undersea snorkeling path. The Trunks bay’s stunning white beach and the turquoise water makes it the most frequently photographed beach in St.Johns Island. You can enjoy the maximum, if you visit the Trunk bay in late afternoons, when you can watch the sunset a pleasant sight.


Snorkeling trip

You can take a Snorkeling journey over the coral reef and explore the undersea resources of the park. You will be briefed by a ranger, who shows you the various coral shapes, the creatures that exist there and how they communicate with each other. You need to bring your snorkel, mask, fins and t-shirt in order to protect from sunburn.

Skywatch

You can spend an evening exploring the Park’s dark night skies. You can also enjoy telescope viewing.
