Tykkimäki amusement park is Finland’s third biggest entertainment park.You can find a variety of attractions in this theme park. It boasts of forty rides and sports. Throughout the summer there are a lot of excitement shows at the open-air stage.

Main rides

Autorata

This is a Bumper car type ride. It comprises of a number of electrical cares, which pulls power from the ceiling or floor and the operator turns them remotely on and off. This is an exhilarating ride which gives you ultimate enjoyment.

Pilvenpyörä

Pilvenpyörä is a paratrooper sort of ride. In this you can ride on cars suspended beneath a wheel and you will rotate at an oblique angle. In this umbrella type ride, the cars freely rock sideways and sway under the influence of centrifugal force.

Idänpikajuna

Idänpikajuna is a roller coaster ride. It comprises of tracks that goes up in designed patterns. It has inversion known as vertical loops and it turns you for a short time completely overturned .Another exciting ride that gives you immense enjoyment.

Kouvola-pyörä

This is a Ferris wheel ride. You will travel in passenger cars called as capsules or gondolas. The passenger cars are fixed to the rim of a rotating upright giant wheel in such a method, even as the wheel rotates, you will remain upright under the influence of gravity.

Kids ride

Apollo

This is a merry go around amusement ride. Your little ones can travel on wooden horses back or on other animals' back, all mounted on a post. Your kids will be moved in circular rotating circular platform, accompanied by melodious looped circus music.

How to get there

There are regular bus services from the town of Kouvola to Tykkimäki amusement park. Dogs are permitted inside the park provided they should be with leash and under the owner’s control.

Opening hours

The park is normally opened on weekdays from 12 to 7pm and on weekends it is opened from 12 to 8pm.

Admission fees

A Single ticket costs 5 €, while the TYKKIMÄKI Card, by which you can enjoy 5 rides costs 22 €.
