Kuwait-Kerala Sunni Muslim Council (KKSMC), held a warm sent-off reception for the out-going Treasurer Sayedalavi Hajee Chembra and the former General Secretary of KKSMC. President Abdussalam Moulavi, (Imam and Khatib, at Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs, Kuwait) presided the meeting. In his presidential speech , he admired Chembra for his valuable contributions rendered as a founding member as well as an office bearer of KKSMC. The function was inaugurated by its Chairman Sayid Nasir Thangal.

Sayid Nasir Thangal said that the services rendered for the past 10 years by Chembra made KKSMC growing fast., and prayed that ALLAH almighty will endorse his hard works in the records of good deeds. The felicitators included Leaders and Islamic Scholars from Kuwait. Basheer Batha, General Secretary of Kuwait kerala Muslim Cultural Centre said that he will really miss Chembra and the “sent-off gathering function” is a good example for his exemplary services rendered for KKSMC. Mohamedali Faisi, Ismail Hudawi, Hussain Faisi. Various branch committees were represented by Abdunnaser, Abdulaziz, Abdullathif Darimi, Abdul Rahman, Abdul Hamid, KTP Rahman, Hamza Karingapara, Abdulla Mulla, Ismail Bevincha, Aziz Haji, Hamza Quilandi. Many of the KKSMC workers and leaders from different area committees admired Chembra for his various activities during their felicitation speeches. All of them said that they will really miss and wished him bright future for his endeavors. Chairman Sayid Nasir Thangal along with President Abdussalam Moulavi handed over the memento representing KKSMC Central committee while Dr. Sayyid Ghalib Al-Mashoor Thangal, (KKSMC Organizing Secretary) also made a remarkable felicitation speech and delivered the “plaque of appreciation” on behalf KKSMC’s Kuwait City Committee. Dr. Al-Mashoor, who is also the President of Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society said that honoring a person with dignity is itself shows that how much love has cherished for Chembra by each member, and added that ALLAHU Subhanu Wataala will never ignore giving rewards to a dedicated person whose works were appreciated by less privileged community both in kerala and in Kuwait.

SayedAlavi Chembra in his reply speech thanked KKSMC for the warm reception organized by KKSMC and said that he is greatly honored by giving him “plaques of appreciation” by the committee and requested for “ pardon” if he is accidentally or un-expectedly made any mistakes from his works as a team leader. Chembra who spent more than 17 years stay as a bachelor in Kuwait decorated several posts in KKMCC also. Chembra worked as an “Human Resources Officer” at International Turnkey Systems left job for his own accord., for joining with his family and also resuming his duties at one of the Governmental Institutions back in Kerala after “ along term casual leave”.

Welcome speech was delivered by Kunhamad Faisi, (General Secretary of KKSMC) while Vote of thanks was expressed by Abdul Hakeem followed by Duaa and salath. Spacious dinner was also served for the attendees.
