Pravasee Cultural Congress (I) president Jacob Channapetta and IOCC General secretary Raju Zacriah led delegation to meet and honor the visiting Indian Parliament member and the India's ruling congress (I) party general secretary Rahul Gandhi in Sharaton hotel pavilion yesterday.

Rahul Gandhi is a son of Late Rajiv Gandhi and the grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi those who ruled India in the past 6 decades.

The cultural congress leaders discussed various community issues including recent Air India strike and urged to Rahul Gandhi to use your office's good efforts to put an end the ongoing Air India pilots strike in India There has been no breakthrough in the strike of Air India pilots, which has entered its more than one month.

The strike of Air India pilots is continuing to put the expatriate public in a fix; more NRI's are stuck in the airports across the world.

Since the management has already faced grave loss due to the ongoing strike,
The ruling congress party needs to intervene on the ongoing strike and to resolve the problem and end the strike, urged expatriate cultural congress president Jacob Channapetta to Mr. Gandhi during the meeting.

The delegation also appeal to the AICC General Secretary and the parliament member to use your ability to create enough Law, that to recover the loss from striking pilots which incurred due to this kind of strike, and to pay back the losses to the passengers those who suffered due to the long strike and incurred losses shall not to impose on passengers as a tax or any other manner or on the nation.

The delegation requested to Rahul Gandhi also that to induct Pravasee congress leaders to AICC and Pradesh congress committees respectively.

Rahul Gandhi appreciated the gesture and expressed his appreciation and conveyed good wishes to all Indians in Kuwait.
