Space world

A Theme park situated in Yahatahigashi-ku, Kitakyūshū, Japan is the Space world. It was formed by the Nippon Steel when the organization was slimming down its steel plant in the region. Space world Inc, an ancillary of Kamori Kanko is presently operating the Space world.

The space world provides a wide range of entertainment packages with lots of daily events for the family. It also has a Space camp, the country’s primary genuine educational space practice facility.

Space Camp

The space camp was formed with a license agreement with America’s Space camp foundation. The camp provides a full prospectus that also covers special training utilizing the same equipment s used by the NASA astronauts. The participants are made to stay in a camp and an expert staff provides instructions to them. The camp offers a variety of courses to various age groups and course durations.

Some of the other salient features of the Space world

It has the Space Eye, a 330ft (100m) tall Giant Ferris wheel that that provides spectacular views.

It has a ‘planetary Aqua’ a water attraction. The total length of the course is 500 meters in length and the greatest in the country.

There is also an amusement area for the children called the Kids Quest.

From Space World Station it is approximately 55 min by JR Line from Hakata Station.
