Rocky Mountain National Park

Some of the prominent places in the park are, the Longs Peak. The peak is noticeable from several vantage points. The peak is situated at an elevation of 14,259 feet (4,346 m).
Another popular tourist destination in the Rocky mountain park is the Bear Lake. The other tourists’ spots in the national park are Milner pass, Fall River Pass, Sprague Lake, Wild basin, Mount meeker, etc.
The tourists can go on horse on most trials. However in some trials horse riding is not permitted, instead, the visitors can ride on Llamas. The Llamas are small in size, when compared to the horse. Moreover they have softer feet, which are very much appropriate for trail erosion.
The visitors can enjoy mountaineering and rock climbing. Some of the rock climbing are are the Hallett Peak, Longs Peak, Lumpy Ridge, etc.
During the winter season, some of the popular sports are snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. On higher slopes, telemark skiing are carried out.
Other entertainment activities, the visitors can enjoy are, fishing, which they can carry out, on the various streams and lakes available in the park.
Likewise at several chosen campground, camping is permitted.
