Air China said it will fly its Airbus A319 aircraft on each Mon, Wed, Fri and Sundays. The duration for the oneside journey takes about 5 hours.

This is Air china’s second direct route between India and Chengdu. Previously the airline has operated a Bangalore – Chengdu flight in 2010.

Mumbai is the commercial capital of India, while Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province is a main commercial center western part of China. The new service will help to strengthen cultural as well as business ties between the two nations.
