Magnificent “Commencement Ceremony†at ILOA
Indian Learners Own Academy, Kindergarten paid a befitted tribute to their “ALMA MATER†through an awesome commencement ceremony. The tiny tots made an articulate and colourful presentation, setting a festive mood for the celebration. Little but confident anchors of the programme performed with ease, self-discipline and extreme aristocracy. A galaxy of the proud parents of the incumbents was in attendance to cheer on their children’s performances and the auditorium was filled to capacity. The cheer group left no stone unturned in applauding the amateur artists and leaders.
Recital of prayer, Quran verse, Kuwait national anthem and Indian national anthem metamorphosed the whole venue into a sanctum. School had two guests of honor gracing this occasion, Mrs. Tahirih Tazeh and Mrs. Tahere Sadat, who are well known social workers and philanthropists. Mrs. Anita, an expert on personality development resources, also graced the occasion. The Chairman of the school Mr. D.K. Sharma and the school’s sponsor Mr. Ibrahim Al gharair were also present to laud the young achievers on their accomplishments. The event was made more auspicious by the welcome address of the principal, Mrs. Asha Sharma, who congratulated the graduating students. She appreciated the tremendous support not only from the teaching faculty but from the parents as well. The lighting of the lamp was an explicit symbolization of the eradication of ignorance and illiteracy.
It was mesmerizing to watch UKG students marching into the arena in their proud convocation gowns. More flavor was added to the extravaganza by the little ones while they cheered their way through “clap your hands â€, “Kabutaron ki Railâ€, “Head, shoulders, Knees and Toesâ€, “Five Sensesâ€, “Sweet Valuesâ€, “Do Re Meâ€, “Mulberry Bush†and “Hey Baby Hey Babyâ€. In their smart outfits the little ones enjoyed tapping their feet and dancing with beautiful steps to the rhythmic and enchanting music. A scintillating and lively performance was put up on the stage which turned out to be feast for the eyes of the spectators. Mrs. Tahira Tahzajdeh’s address was a well received by one and all.
“All’s well that ends wellâ€. The culmination was noticed by the opulent cuisines served by none other than the teachers, who played a vital role in making the function a mega success.
