KIG: QUR’AN STUDY CENTRE EXAM RESULTS DECLARED

KUWAIT CITY: Kerala Islamic Group (KIG) gives prime importance to learn and promote Qura’an and Islamic Studies.  With this objective KIG is conducting Quran Studies Centers in various parts of Kuwait with specially prepared syllabus for various age groups and academic levels. In culmination of 2010 session, a proficiency exam was conducted on the basis of the knowledge on Surathul-Fatah and Fiqh for the level 2 students. In this final exam Shameena Abdul Kader (Abu Halifa) received the first position followed by Mehbooba Anees (Farwaniya) second and Aisha P.T.P (Reggae) third positions in central level.

The Level 1 course included chapters between Surathul-Naas and Surathul-Feel with a basic Fiqh lessons. Rahna P.P of Reggae Area secured the first place followed by Shadia Mubashir second and Jasmine third (both from Farwaniya) in central level.

Area-wise accomplishers of level 2 exams in the order 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions are;  Abbasiya: Jabirah Thaiseer, Sameera Muneer, Jasmine Shukoor. Salmiya: Farooq Sharqi, Ismail V.M, Basheer C.K. Kuwait City: Rafeeque Valappil, Abdul Samad H.A, Fasalul Haq. Abu Halifa: Shameena Abdul Kader, Sufiya Sajid, Sumayya Najeeb. Farwaniya: Mehbooba Aneesh, Reggae: Aisha P.T.P, Subeena Shabeer, Thasleena Abdul Razack. Fahaheel: Shabana Noushad, Shahina Ashraf, Bushaina Rafeeq Babu
LEVEL 1 Accomplishers of various area in the order 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions are; Salmiya: Shujaath Rishdin, Fuad Shaukath, Husna Najeeb. Abu Halifa: Navas K, Muhammed Ali K.T, Ashraf K.K. Farwaniya: Rahna P.P, Shadia, Mubbashir, Jasmine.

The cash prizes for the central level winners will be given in the upcoming programs of KIG while the area level prizes were distributed in various Annual area conventions of KIG marking the end of the financial year 2010.  Surathul Luqman has been selected as the new  portion for the next  course starting from January till March.
