Indian Central School organizes rangoli competetion
Indian Central School Upper Middle Wing organized Inter House Rangoli Competition on1st May 2012.The Rangoli competition brought to light the children's talent and creativity in making the traditional Rangoli designs. Irrespective of the gender bias both the girls and the boys participated in the competition and put their maximum effort to come out as the winners. The competition enabled the students to display their latent talents in this traditional art form. Drawn meticulously and with bare fingers, the rangoli designs were exquisite. It was a spectacular display of co-ordination and team work.
Each team made gorgeous motifs on the floor, with desiccated coconut, coloured pebbles, and scented flower petals. Truly, it was a tough time for the judges to make an impartial judgment as each design was better than the other. Each team was judged based on the Neatness, colour blend, presentation and design. The Principal and the judges appreciated the innovative ideas and commendable effort of each team in making the competition a memorable one. Sapphire house bagged the first position while Topaz and Emerald house came second and third respectively.
