INDIAN CENTRAL SCHOOL HONORS THE GUEST



Mr. T. K. S. Elangovan, an Indian politician, a representative of DravidaMunnetraKazhagam party and incumbent member of the Parliament of India from Chennai North Constituency visited Indian Central School, Kuwait on 3rd of January 2012. He was welcomed with a rhythmic beat of the band by the students.

A special assembly was arranged in his honour. The students sang a melodious song and performed a beautiful Tamil dance. ‘A fresh new year; another year to live’ the highlight of the day was depicted in a well formed presentation. A PowerPoint presentation about him and his work was also exhibited.

Principal, Mrs. Shanta Maria James, in her address spoke on voluminous measures of the Minister’s excellence in various areas.

Mr. T.K.S. Elangovan was delighted by the day’s highlight and congratulated the students and the teachers for a well presented programme. He gave an enlightening message to the students saying that they are the future of today’s competitive world and that it all depends on them how to build it up.

Then Mr. Elangovan had a leisure talk with the Principal and the staff and after the photograph session, left the school in good spirits.
