INDIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL HELD INVESTITURE CEREMONY FOR SENIORS

India International school, Mangaf conducted the investiture ceremony for the Students Council members who were elected by the students through free and fair democratic election held on 29th April 2010.

The Investiture ceremony was conducted on Wednesday the 5th May 2010. Mrs. Shantha Marya James the Principal of Indian Central School and Convener of CBSE Affiliated Schools in the Gulf, Kuwait Chapter was the Chief Guest on this solemn occasion. The Principal Mr. Anis Ahmad  in his welcome addrss spoke about the credentials of Mrs. Shantha Marya james and introduced her to the students of senior wing who had assembled for the occasion.

The programme began with the recitation of the versus from the Holy Quran followed by Kuwait national Anthem and school song. The Chief Guest handed over the sashes and badges to the Head boy Master Minhajuddin Sharfuddin and Head Girl Miss Asma Moiddeen.The Director Mr. Moosa Koya decorated the Deputy Head Boy Master Ibrahim and the Deputy Head Girl Miss Muneera. The Principal decorated the Sports Captain Mater Jithin and the Vice Captain Master Jim Johnson.The Vice Principal decorated the Sports Captain (G) Miss Lakshmi and the vice Captain Miss Shafna. All the other prefects were decorated by Head Master, KG Head and their respective House masters & mistresses.

The School flag was handed over to the new Head Boy and Head Girl by the Principal.
The Oath was administered by the Principal which was followed by the speeches by Master Minhajuddin & Miss Asma Moideen  where they once again reiterated their commitment towards the school and their fellow students. They also expressed their sincere thanks to the students and teachers for trusting them for the job.

The school choir group sang “Showers of blessings” for the prefects.

Mrs. Shantha Marya in her address appreciated the election process and the commitments of the Head Boy and the Head Girl. She advised them to lead by example and prove themselves to be good leaders.

The programme came to an end with the singing of Indian National Anthem.
