IIS students & staff celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2010 with great enthusiasm & joy.

The day started with the morning assembly which focused on Earth Day.  The Director, Principal, Vice Principal, Headmaster & K.G Head planted saplings in the school garden. Science club members & teachers joined them. Students of class III, IV & V made book marks which conveyed messages for saving the planet. It was distributed to teachers, other students, neighbours & friends.

Different competitions were held for students of class I to V like drawing & colouring competition, collage making competition poster making, banner making & inter house science quiz competition to create awareness about the planet.

Class Vi , VII and VIII had the fabric paining—they painted beautiful flowers on the bags.

The senior classes had the lessons in cooking.

Kindergarten children were taken for a nature walk around the school garden by their supervisor Mrs. Shifana.

It was an awesome day for the children during activity period.
