IKFS conducted arabic expertise, calligraphy and art competitions.

The Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society has conducted its first Arabic Expertise, Calligraphy & Art Competitions on Friday, 11th May 2012 at the Auditorium of Salmiya Indian Model School, Salmiya .

Zainab, the XIth class student of Indian Public School made recitation of Holy Quran. IKFS Patron, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sadi (Ministry of Justice, Kuwait) and CEO, Al-Sadi Intl Gen. Trading & Contracting Co. inaugurated the competitions. Al-Sadi said that he is very much delighted to attend the competitions and astonished to see that lot of people are interested in Calligraphies and he thanked IKFS for the invitation. Various Participants showed their interests in Calligraphy competitions in Hindi, Urdu and Arabic languages. Some of the participants showed superb artistic talents during the given time of 2 hours. Ismail Hudaiwi, Islamic Scholar and SUNNI Council Secretary was the Quiz Master for the Islamic Quiz competitions. While Mrs. Lakshmi Kalyana Subramaniam, Principle of GULF INSTITUTE for strategic and Technological Studies controlled the General Quiz competitions along with Engineer Sayed Fadal Nizar as Quiz Masters.

President Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor presided the function. A.K.S. Abdul Nazar, General Secretary welcomed the participants of the competition along with guests. Treasurer Iftakhar Ahmed and Joint Secretary Pradeep Rajkumar guided the Program rules and supervised the competitions.

The results will be announced in the website of: indo-kuwaitfriendshipsociety.com on 18th May 2012. The Cash awards, Certificates will be given to the winning Candidates in a function to be held on May 25th commemorating IKFS’ first anniversary celebrations. All the participants will be handed over Prizes and Cash awards in addition to “ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES” who have shown their artistic calibers in Calligraphy. Spacious break-fast was served for the guests and contestants.
