A very large crowd gathered in the “Hubbu Rasool” (Love Prophet Mohamed – PBUH) conference conducted by Kuwait Kerala Sunni Muslim Council (KKSMC) on 17th Feb. 2012 at Abbasiya Rhytham auditorium. The fully packed auditorium witnessed scholarly speeches from Athipatta Ustad Mohideen Kutty Moulavi, one of the Senior Members of Samastha Kerala Matha Vidyabyasa Board and the Chairman of Charitable Society of Kerala. The key note address was delivered by Dr M.M. Basheer Moulavi, a native of Kollam (Kerala-India), who holds double Medical degrees in English Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine from Kerala Universities and also a graduate of Bakiyaatu Salihat Institute of Chennai. (BSI is a century old Islamic Teaching Institute) conveyed the “Peace and Tolerance” message of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) for global prosperity and economy.

The Hubbu Rasool conference initiated with “Seerathu Nnabi (Moulood Nasheeda)” in Arabic language for an hour followed by Islamic Arts & Holy Quran competitions . The Public function started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Sayid Omran. Shaikh Abdul Salam Moulavi, President of KKSMC presided the meeting. He said, that KKSMC is proud of hosting Seerathu Nnabi get together function or so called “Hubbu Rasool” conference, as world’s more than 1.5 billion Muslims also celebrate and honor Prophet Mohamed, the messenger of Allahu Jalla Jalalu, because Prophet was born in the month of Rabeeul Awwal.

Dr. Sayid Ghalib Al-Mashoor Thangal inaugurated the conference. Dr. Ghalib said that the reason behind the diminishing power of Muslims in the globe is due to non-adherence of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)’s teachings by Muslims. He quoted the holy verses from Quran while reciting that “Obey Allah almighty (Jallajalalu’) and Obey Prophet Mohamed (PBUH). Then all the problems of Muslims in the world will be solved. Tarnishing Muslims and Islam by western Media is deplorable. Because, most of the media is controlled by anti-Islamic corporations and people, then what you expect? He questioned. They still deliver hate campaigns against Muslims, and he requested to stop for the sake of global peace and love.

Dr. Basheer Moulavi M.M. delivered the key note address for about two hours and given illustrated details on Prophet Mohammad (S.A)’s Peace message and added that our responsibility towards the Communities completely ignored by ourselves as Muslims and at the same time lagged behind to learn Islam’s basic teachings. He also challenged the audience that Holy Quran gives a to z information if anybody wants to browse their modern theories of 21st century and compare with the Holy Quran Verses. Athipatta Moideen Kutty Ustad said that all the Muslim youth should concentrate for the promotion of Da’wah activities and to give more importance to the non-worldly matters. He added that original life is starting only after death. Helping poors and providing alms and zakat will strengthen the brotherly relationship., he added while saying that loving neighbours and show kindness to elders and kids is part of the teachings of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH). Ustad added that we should maintain relationship with all communities and should entertain the simple line of worship i.e. (One God preaching)., accordingly, one could easily solve difficulties and can enjoy a comfortable life, and a guaranteed entry to JANNATHUL FIRDOUS.

He also added to take opportunities in Kuwait for learning Holy Quran and the language of Paradise “Arabic” as soon as possible, and select good companions who are having moral back ground and cultured. Prizes were handed over to the winners of Islamic Arts & Holy Quran competitions. Conference Messages were read by Sayid nasir Thangal, Chairman of KKSMC. Sayid Pookoya Thangal (Chairman, Darul Huda School, Sharjah) also delivered felicitation speech. Kutti Ahmed Faisi welcomed the guests and the program adjourned with Duaa for Maghfira by Shaikuna AthIpatta Moideen Moulavi. Many representatives of Various Indian Associations also attended the conference. In addition to, Shamdsuddin Faisi represented Kuwait Islamic Centre, While Sharafuddin Kanneth, President of KKMCC. President Mohamed Meer Sha, President of Kuwait Tamil Islamic Society along with A K S Nazer also joined in the core part of Hubbu Rasool Conference of KKMSC. Free dinner also were served.
