Frontliners book 14 - Released at a Grand Function

April 30, 2010 is yet another milestone in the journey of  Frontliners Kuwait, grand finale with eminent dignitaries Mr. Jogindhar Singh IPS former CBI Director, Mr. Ramesh Praba  media personality  addressing the gathering at Cambridge English auditorium,  book  FRONTLINERS Part 14  authored by Writer N.C.Mohandoss, dedicated to the theme “Community Service”  being  released by His Excellency Mr. Ajai Malhotra, Ambassador of India.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ajai Malhotra praised at length the self less service performed by Frontliners team in the last 13 years and encouraged  NRI’s to be part of some social service network to give back something to our nation for what it has done to each of its citizens. An article in the book specifically outlining the services of the Indian embassy Kuwait would greatly benefit each of our people here and it would be a useful tool for all to understand the complexity & work culture of the diplomatic mission.

Ms Naeemah Ahmed Al Hay  Kuwaiti guest of the evening poured extreme praise on Indian for their sincerity, hospitality & rule abiding habits. She brought to light the  glorious relationship between Kuwait & India for the past several decades and thanked each one of the community for having been positively contributing to the growth of Kuwait Nation. She has always been  supportive of Frontliners activity and wished  their good service to continue for long.

Mr. Joginder Singh releasing the souvenir to commemorate the function expressed pleasure about the NRI’s effort for national integration and gave  memorable advice to the youth for stream-lining  their career. He highlighted that every individual should have a specific objective & goal and this will provide the mechanism to get motivated to bring out their best potential. Further he advised  “concentrated hard work and keenness to achieve should be the ingredient for life’s purpose  and we should  develop this as an instinctive habit.” Singh spoke about positive attitudes and pro-active traits that moulds individuals path of success!!.   

Media personality, alumnus of IIM Mr.Ramesh Praba leading TV presenter for nearly two decades gave a  motivational speech to the audience asking  parents to understand what the child wants than thrusting on them what they want from them. With experience in career guidance program conducted at all district in Tamilnadu for the past several years, he observed that youth are misguided more by misinformation than by watching  TV programs or media as observed by elders. He added that growth potential was available for all   irrespective of the marks one achieves in the classroom.

Frontliners a self motivated, service oriented group founded by N.C.Mohandoss in 1998 has forwarded voluntary contributions collected from the Indian at Kuwait to provide educational expenditure for the needy, orphanages and to national calamity funds. With this celebration the cumulative  contribution over this 13 years  had crossed the 1 crore mark and this was achieved due to good hearts of the NRI’s. Highlighting the above while speaking on the occasion Frontliners Advisor Mr. N. Lakshminarayanan requested more to join the good cause and stressed the need for all to consider that “service” to human-kind is the rent one pays to mother earth. Dr. Abdul Razak Rumane president thanked member for the efforts they have put in & explained the achievement of the Team, informed of the great words of appreciation by the Kuwait organizers for community centered activates such as blood donation & tree plantation.

The function started traditionally by lighting the lamp by the cultural team ladies and VP Mr. Singaravelu welcomed the guests specially flown-in from India and the valuable community representative present in the auditorium. The function started with series of dance display by various Indian school children highlighting the rich cultural heritage of our motherland. Entertainment extravaganza had its heights by the presence of cine & TV fame couple Raghav & Preetha. Their dance and music numbers were a great treat for the lively audience and solo performance by Raghav for a famous bollywood number from Dhoom II was a sensational Hit !!.

As the screens were pulled to a close after a pleasurable evening of fun, frolic and words of wisdom by the noted personalities, Frontliners organizing team member Mr. Joseph Panikar  and   MR.Shibu Pallickal proposed the vote of thanks.
