Indian Central School, Kuwait organized a special assembly to bid farewell to the outgoing batch on 25th January 2012. The usually solemn function was transformed to an entertaining event resembling a cine award show by the talented students of Class XI. The hosts of the day Nikhil and Chhaya enthralled the audience with a series of witty performances, mesmerizing music and dance numbers. The Council members gave their farewell speeches and exhorted the students to perform their best in the forthcoming Board exams. The Principal Mrs. Shanta Maria James advised the students to follow the path of happiness in their life as that is what everyone seeks to enjoy. The assembly concluded with the special party organized for Class X at the auditorium.

The evening programme arranged for Class XII students at the Swiss- Bel Plaza Hotel was a visual treat for the spectators. The fleet of limos, display of designer wears, mind boggling hair do's etc. made them on par with Hollywood celebrities. The programme commenced with a candle lighting ceremony with everyone singing to the tunes of “Lead Kindly Light”. The scene turned emotional and sentimental as the tearful adieus were made. The mood changed as the students and teachers danced the night away to the rocking music provided by the D.J. It turned out to be yet another important event in the memoirs of ICS.
