Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre, whose followers in GCC Countries include more than 250,000 has re-elected unanimously, Dr. Sayyid Ghalib Al-Mashoor Thangal as the President of Kuwait based KKMCC Kannur District Committee for the year 2012-2013. Kuwait KMCC is a registered Socio-cultural Association with a non-profit status at Indian Embassy in Kuwait is considered to be one of the biggest member associations in Kuwait. Ashraf Thrikaripur controlled the election as the Election commissioner.

KANNUR KKMCC’s “Pride of Kannur Mega Event” held in December 2011, gave a Bright color to the present committee members who rose above the capacity level as being the activities of a District Committee which was appreciated by thousands of members of the KKMCC and the present Ambassador of India H.E. Satish Mehtaji who was the chief guest of the function at the time when Kerala State Member of Legislative Assembly T.A. Ahmed Kabeer Sahib also visited Kuwait and made key note address of the event.

The function was held at “ECHO RESTAURANT” (Farwaniya) with the participation of KKMCC National Committee executives and members. Dr. Sayyid Ghalib Thangal hails from Kannur also is the “Advisory Council Member of the National Committee”.
