CBSE helpline service starts from 1st February 2011
Mrs. Asha Sharma, the Principal of Indian Learners Own Academy, Kuwait, has been entrusted with the responsibility of CBSE tele- helpline service for the board examinees, which is going to begin from 1st February, 2011. Mrs. Sharma has been the tele- counselor of
Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for the past 13 years since the inception of this
service.
The idea of Central Board of Secondary education behind this service is
§ To help students appearing for examination understand stress and anxiety.
§ To be aware of the signs of stress which build up naturally during examinations and learn to deal with them?
§ To help parents and guardians facilitate children towards healthy coping and preparation for examinations.
Mrs. Sharma believes that to counter the tensions linked with it, the solution lies in developing the correct attitude towards examinations and in understanding how to deal with them more pleasantly. The examinees attitude and the confidence along with their awareness of their own strengths and limitations will take them towards success.
Mrs. Asha Sharma can be contacted on phone between 8 a.m. and 12 noon on the school phone number-24337140 from 1st February to 28th February, 2011 on all the five working days either by the examinees or by their parents.
