My husband is gone back to India with exit and reentry visa. He is supposed to return by May 2011.
His iquama and his visa shold be renewed. He may come for extension of the Iqama and visa by the end of April and he has to return to India after 15 days Whether I can initiate efforts to get iqama and visa extension in his absentia. This I intend to do to avoid delay in getting the visa and Iqama. last time it took more than 45 days to get iqama. How long will it take for Visa and Iqama renewal Kindly advice vijayeswari |

Hello , No one can Renew Or Extend Iqama (work Permit) if the holder is absent , because its actually common sense, how can you renew an iqama while the owner himself isint present in the kingdom & the absence appears in the PP dept's system , secondly , if your sponsor is a kind & helpful person, the process of iqama renewal & exit-reentry visa can be done in 1 single day , all you do is get the insurance paid by yourself & the Iqama Renewal Fees By any ATM or Online to avoid getting cash harrased by you agent or sponsor , later on its just an hour's process to complete the renewal process & another hour for the exit-reentry visa !Normally i Myself Do the Process individually within a day !
