Human Brain Facts-1( Childhood Development) |

From the previous topics we have discussed the skills of our brain, now lets go further.
The human brain consisits of around 1 million neurons or cells which is equal to a computer and capable of more than the man made machines! The left hemisphere of our brain is incharge of "logical facts" ie., Short term memory, Simple calculation or numbers, Logic Language Sequence Alphabets etc The right brain is incharge of: Colors Imagination Thinking Long Term memory Photographic memory Pictures Creativity etc., Now it is clear that the right brain is more powerfull than the left, but he left brain dominates the right because we are all right handed. We use only our right hand which keeps the left brain active. Because the right brain controls the left and the left brain controls the right side of our body. The nervous network is criss-crossed in the human body. 90% of the worlds's population is right handed which means 90% of us use only the left brain and only 10% use their right brain who are non other than left handers. A normal grown adult uses only 1% of brain in the entire life and the balance 99% of the brain goes unused. 10% people who use the right brain are creative people and some of them are scientists, inventors etc. There are methods to active both the sides of the brain and develop it as a whole but it should be known that the physiological development of the brain is only between the ages of 3 and 14 and the maximum or peak age is 8 years when the brain is ready to grasp, learn and store anything. Therefore for a whole brain development the age ends at 14 but for knowledge there is no limit!!! |
