British Umrah pilgrims given health advice
JEDDAH: The British Embassy has advised its citizens to take specific health precautions while on Umrah. “British pilgrims coming on Umrah have been advised to follow the health advice, get the necessary vaccinations and take precautions when consuming food and water to avoid health problems,†a spokesman at the embassy said recently. Many people contract diarrhea because they are not careful about what they eat, he said. The embassy also advised them to take care of their personal belongings including passports, tickets and valuables. “Make a copy of your passport before you travel, and keep it in a safe place,†it said.
