Mumbai, April 16 (IANS) A 34-year-old woman Saturday committed suicide by jumping off the seventh floor of a building along with her five-year-old son in suburban Dahisar here, police said.

 
 "Deepti Chauhan and her son Siddhu were rushed to the hospital, but were declared dead on admission," a police official said.
 
 Police are yet to ascertain the reason behind the extreme step the woman took and are looking into the matter, the official said.
 
 On March 8, 30-year-old Nidhi Gupta threw her two children from the 19th floor of a building in suburban Malad and then jumped herself. Police booked her in-laws for harassment, torture and abetting suicide March 12.
