Vulcano Buano is a well-known shopping mall a centre for leisurely activity. The mall that is situated in Nola, adjacent to a hamlet called Polvica in Italy. Renzo Piano, a well-known Italian architect designed the mall and it was opened to the public on December 7, 2007. The mall is designed in the shape of Valcano and it imitates the Vesuvius volcano.

It is a very big multi-center comprising of a hotel, a multiplex cinema, a gallery, an Auchan hypermarket, and double height of 155 shops and various bars and restaurants.

The shopping mall is spread on an area of 450,000 m². The floor area covers nearly 150,000 m². The mall also has a large parking lot and can house nearly 7000 cars at a time.

A large circular square is located in the middle and it honors the Naples Piazza del Plebiscito. A number of events and concerts are held in the square.
