Tokyo, July 4 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia met over 59 percent of Japan's oil supplies this May, a statistical report by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, affiliated to the Japanese ministry of economy, trade and industry, has revealed.

 
 Saudi Arabia maintained its position as Japan's biggest oil supplier with 31.7 million barrels exported in May, representing 33.3 percent of Japan's total oil imports.
 
 The UAE followed as the second largest oil supplier to Japan, exporting 24.6 million barrels or 25.8 percent of the total imports in the same month.
