Sonepat (Haryana), June 19 (IANS) A couple was arrested in a twin murder case for hiring contract killers who murdered two of their neighbours in Haryana, police said Sunday.

 
 "We arrested Jagbir and his wife Guddi late Saturday night. They had a dispute with their neighbours over the tying of cattle," said Kanwal Singh, investigation officer of the case. The accused are residents of Vikas Nagar locality here.
 
 "Six-seven unidentified men entered the house of Santosh, a widow, late Friday night and started beating her son Sunil," he added. Sunil's wife Reena was also attacked by the unidentified miscreants.
 
 "When the family members intervened, the miscreants opened fire at them," the officer said.
 
 Santosh and her married daughter Seema were killed. Sunil and Reena were admitted to a hospital but Reena was later discharged.
 
 "We have formed three police teams and are conducting raids at various places to nab the remaining accused," Singh said.
