New Delhi, June 10 (IANS) A businessman's one-and-half-year-old son was drowned after he accidentally fell into a water-filled bucket at his house here, police said Friday.

 
 "Satish, a businessman, lives with his family in Uttam Nagar area in west Delhi. The boy was alone in the house and playing while his mother was in the balcony watching a procession go by Wednesday afternoon," said a senior police officer.
 
 Police said the boy managed to go to the bathroom and fell inside the water bucket. "By the time his mother came inside the house in about 10-15 minutes, the boy had drowned. She rushed the boy to a nursing home where doctors declared him dead,” added the officer.
