To change sex, youth runs away with boss' money

New Delhi, Sep 15 (IANS) Unhappy at being a male and desperate to change his sex through surgery, a 24-year-old youth fled with the money that his boss handed over to him to deliver to an acquaintance, police said.

Anas Khan, a resident of Rohini Chowk in north Delhi, ran away with the Rs.2 lakh his boss Virender Mohan, owner of Chemical Company, gave to deliver to someone in Karol Bagh in central Delhi, said Additional Commissioner of Police V. Renganathan.

Virender Mohan has filed a complaint on Sep 6. Mohan dropped Khan at Janakpuri Center metro station and asked him to deliver the money at Karol Bagh but he did not reach the place, police said.

Police said that Khan was arrested from Baljeet Nagar Tuesday and Rs.65,000 was recovered from his possession.

“Khan told us that he had stolen money to get a silicon breast implantation as a first step to change his sex. He was unhappy at being a male,” Renganathan said.

After running away, Khan deposited Rs.1 lakh at Jenecis Wellness Clinic Private Ltd at Patel Nagar in central Delhi for the surgery, police said.
