Tamil cultural association, Hong Kong was formed in the year 1967 with the aim of maintaining and encouraging the member’s recreational, cultural, educational, intellectual and moral wellbeing and also encouraging the south Indian culture , especially the Tamil traditions in the city-state of HongKong.

The organization arranges debates, dramas, sports activities, musical concerts, and extracts the talent from the society. The association also arranges the Cultural troupes to visit and perform in HongKong. The association boasts of having 250 individuals as members.
