Man made isms cannot prevent wide spread corruption: Prof. Siddique Hassan

Man made isms like capitalism, communism, socialism etc. have utterly failed to prevent wide spread corruption across the world in Government and corporate levels and only a system based on ethics, morale and religious basis can solve the labyrinth of problems man kind is facing now, said Professor Siddique Hassan, Asst. Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, New Delhi, he was addressing a public gathering at Farwaniya boys high school auditorium arranged by Kerala Islamic Group (KIG), Kuwait. World had seen the failure, inefficiency and death of communism and socialism in its own birth places. The global financial crisis, scary sort of polarization of rich and poor, wide spread unemployment, the strikes and agitations like “occupy the wall street” in USA, Europe etc., are clearly demonstrating the death of capitalism as well, he added.

Lokpal bill is not a panacea to solve the wide spread corruption in India and by just putting former ministers like Raja, Kanimozhi, Khoda, Amar Sing, Yadiurappa, R. Balakrishna Pillai etc., behind bars is not a permanent solution. Narendra Modi cannot clear off the blood stain of 3,000 innocent Muslims by mere fasting for 3 days. Effective and impartial intervention by Supreme court of India is a beam of hope in the darkness created by Fascism and India need to bring the culprits who killed Hemant Karkare to justice and release all the innocent victims who were jailed without any charges. Human rights activists are being hunted and tortured by the police in association with the fascists and Communal riots are being triggered by allowing Adwani’s Rath Yathra, we must stop these and basic fundamental rights of the minority Muslims and their safety must be safe guarded, Siddique Hassan continued.

India will shine and emerge as an economic power, only when the hearts and minds of the vast majority of the marginalized sector of our Indians society shines, not when the pockets of the corporate giants like Tata, Birla and Ambani shines. Let the world be united to fight against fascism, corruption, injustice and inequality. Let us try and bring the under privileged to the main stream of the society, let the entire stratum of our society enjoys the basic education, health care and decent living standards, Siddique Hassan concluded.

KIG acting president Faisal Manjeri presided over the function, P.P. Abdul Razack, and Anwar Saed also addressed the audience. Earlier the program started with recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Saed Salmiya, KIG general secretary SAP Azad welcomed the gathering and T.K Ibrahim (Toronto) offered the prayers and concluding speech.
