“Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-Tic)” conducted "Hijra - 7thAnniversary and Educational Awareness" Special Program in Tamil.
Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-Tic), a non-profit socio-welfare organization of Tamil speaking Muslim community in Kuwait, (established in 2006 - registered with Indian Embassy of Kuwait and also with Administration of Grand Mosque / Kuwait Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Administration of Mosque Department).
K-Tic has a impressive name among the socio-welfare organizations in Kuwait and Gulf countries whose benevolent works and enlightening activities and conserving Islamic uniqueness and also well known with the thousands of Indians especially all Tamil speaking people in Kuwait.
On the occasion of the Islamic New Year “The Hijra”, K-Tic arranged outstanding special program - in “Triplet Program” format in Tamil Language at different places in Kuwait.
This triplet program was a collective of :
(i) “The Hijra - New Year“ Program,
(ii) “Seventh anniversary of Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-Tic)”
and (iii) “Social-Educational-Career Awareness”.
The Special Invitee of Kuwait Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs, was the Chief Guest, from Chennai (India) Professor Moulaanaa Moulavee Al-Haaj Ash-Shaikh M. Abdullah Fazil Baaqavee M.A., The chief guest delivered special lectures on each program. Moulavee Ash-Shaikh M.S. Mohammed Meera Shah Fazil Baqaavee (President of K-Tic) presided over all the programs and Moulavee Afzalul Ulamaa Ash-Shaikh A.B. Khaleel Ahmed Baaqavee M.A., (General Secretary) convened the programs.
First Program :
A impressive program with an audience of 200 individuals (inclusive of bachelors and family) on December 1, 2011 Thursday after Isha Prayer at Masjid Mizyad Al Hilal Al Othaibee, behind Gulf Mart, Fahaheel.
The program was initiated from Al-Quran verses by Moulavee M.S. Mohammed Kuthus Hasani B.A. (Scholar’s / Ulamaa wing), then welcome address by Al-Haaj A.K.S. Abdul Nazar (Dy. Gen. Secretary). The Syrian Imam of that Masjid Ash-Shaikh Saamee Abdul Muthalif Al Baaj Al Sakraba gave a short note in Arabic on Hijra events and the same was translated to Tamil by by Moulavee Afzalul Ulamaa Ash-Shaikh A.B. Khaleel Ahmed Baaqavee M.A., (General Secretary).
Then the Chief Guest Ash-Shaikh Abdullah Fazil Baqavee delivered a special lecture on “Hijrah - a Victorious Destination”. The program concluded at 10pm by vote of thanks by Al-Haaj H. Mohammed Nasar(Dy.Treasurer) and with the Dua’a by the Chief Guest.
Second Program :
A inspiring program with an audience of more than 400 individuals (inclusive of bachelors and family) on December 2, 2011 Friday after Juma’a Prayer from 12.15pm till 1:00pm at K-Tic’s Khaithan Tamil Kutbah Masjid Miqdaad Bin Amroo (r.a.) located opposite to Hotel Crowne Plaza, Farwaniya.
A preface on the Chief Guest was given by Moulavee Afzalul Ulamaa Ash-Shaikh A.B. Khaleel Ahmed BaaqaveeM.A., (General Secretary).The Chief Guest Ash-Shaikh Abdullah Fazil Baqavee delivered a special concise lecture on “Zakaath’s aim & How is being Distributed today? - Importance of Baith Al Maal”.
Third Program :
A impressive program with an audience of 150 individuals (inclusive of bachelors and family) on December 2, 2011 Friday after Isha Prayer at Masjid Al Shaya’a, near Souk Al Wataniya, KPTC Mirgab Bus Terminal, Kuwait City.
The program commenced from verses of Al-Quran by Janab A. Haamid Abu Maajin (Member, Magazines wing), then welcome address by Al-Haaj M. Mohammed Nizamudeen Baaqavi (Vice President).
Then the Chief Guest Ash-Shaikh Abdullah Fazil Baqavee delivered a special lecture on “Islamic way of Education & Discipline”. The program concluded at 10pm by vote of thanks by Moulavi M.S. Mohammed Kuthus Hasani B.A. (Scholar’s wing) and with the Dua’a by the Chief Guest.
At end of each evening program quizzes were arranged for audience and it was replied by them. It was announced that the prizes shall be distributed on the day of family program. Separate seating was arranged for ladies. Tea & snacks was given at end of each program.
The programs were attended by Tamil speaking community and was beneficent for them and their families. Well-known personnel of Indian Associations and its fellow-members concentrated on the program and lecture by the Chief Guest.
