Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-Tic)” conducted Eid Al Adha 2011 Khuthbah Prayer, Sermon in Tam


Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee - “K-Tic”, a non-profit Socio-Welfare Islamic Organization, established in February 2006, registered with Embassy of India, Kuwait and also registered with Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs under the Administration of Grand Mosque and Administration of Mosque Dept. of Ministry of Awqaf of Kuwait, serving the whole Tamil community, irrespective of nation, who speaks & understand Tamil language.

K-Tic has a impressive name among the socio-welfare organizations in Kuwait and Gulf countries whose benevolent works and enlightening activities and conserving Islamic uniqueness and also well known with the thousands of Indians especially all Tamil speaking people in Kuwait.

As an information, since July 2011, K-Tic have started Friday Jum’aa Khutbah (sermon) Prayer in Tamil language in Khaithan area (opp. to Farwaniya Crowne Plaza Hotel). In the same masjid, K-Tic for the first time arranged the Eid Al Fitr (Ramadhan Kuthbah Prayer) and about 1000 people gathered.

Similarly, this Eid Al Adha Kuthbah Prayer (Bakrid Prayer and sermon) was conducted by K-Tic.

On the drizzling dawn of 6th November 2011 (Dhul Hazz 10, 1432), people gathered whispering Takhbeer and the Masjid crowded with male, female and children. At 7:00am, the Eid Prayer was conducted by Moulavee Hafiz Qaari Al-Haaj As-Sheikh M. Mohammed Nizamudeen Baaqavee (Vise President, K-Tic), with an intro to Udhiya / Qurbani (the Fiqh / rulings on Ritual Slaughter) and Eid Prayer.

Followed by the Eid sermon by Moulavee Afzalul Ulamaa As-Sheikh A. B. Khaleel Ahamed Baaqavee M.A., (General Secretary, K-Tic), where he described the morals of family life, importance and greatness of sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.).

After the sermon, prizes were distributed by the K-Tic's scholars to the winners of various competitions held in the previous week program (separate message is being published).

The Eid-to-gether concluded with Dua’a.

People embraced each other by wishing Eid greetings and shared the Eid cheerfulness Separate arrangement was made for Ladies.

Tea and snacks were served to all. More than 1200 people gathered in the Masjid and all were very delightful on the arrangements.
