K-Tic visits Kuwait Awqaf Ministry’s 5th Islamic Art Exhibition.

Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee - “K-Tic” is a non-profit Socio-Welfare Islamic Organization, established in February 2006, registered with Embassy of India, Kuwait and also registered with Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs under the Administration of Grand Mosque and Administration of Mosque Dept. of Ministry of Awqaf of Kuwait, serving the whole Tamil community, irrespective of nation, who speaks & understand Tamil language.

Kuwait Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs has organized the 5th International Forum for Islamic Art is taking place in the Grand Tent at the Grand Mosque premises. The exhibition was performed more than a week until 7th January 2012. Highly talented about 50 participants from various parts of the world made the exhibition grand success.

The paper marbling art workshop (painting on surface of water) from Turkey, the Origami of Italy, miniature script writing of Iran, Chinese calligraphy, Malaysian fabric art, ancient copies of Al-Quran (during Hijri 8-10 i.e. around 1425 years earlier from today) were some of the fascinating exhibits that admired the visitors. The members and families of K-Tic have been informed and they visited the exhibition. The kids engaged and enjoyed in drawing and painting art works. Free Art Books were distributed by the event organizers.

We thank Kuwait Government for organizing such exhibitions. As our beloved Hon. Minister of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs, Dr. Adel Al Falah quote : “this exhibition shall give the youngsters to develop their abilities”- it gave the children a spark within them.
