Kozhikode District Association will be celebrating its first anniversary at Indian Community School premises, Khaitan on 04th February 2011.   Within one year KDA has established itself with its noble activities like Family Benefit Scheme and other cultural & charity activities. It has conducted a major program commemorating Vaikam Muhammed Basheer, very famous literary figure who enthralled the readers with his literature and great works. Many arts and culture programs to show the talent of its members were also carried out by the association. It conducted Baburaj Night remembering the great musician late Baburaj and also extended financial help to the family of Baburaj.

Variety of arts programs in disciplines like  Food Competition, Seminar, Classical Dance, Oppana, Thiruvathirakkali, Cinematic dance, Kolkali & live Orchestra  will be held during the first Annual day function on 04 February 2011 Friday from 2pm onwards.
