About Jamiyyatul Falah:
JF is a charitable organization established in the year 1989 at Mangalore and Udupi Districts of the Karnataka State, India. Like minded individuals have joined together to serve the under-privileged people of our community in the region. JF was felicitated with the prestigious State Award from the Department of Women & Children Welfare, Government of Karnataka for the Educational upliftment of Women and Children.
Our motto is “Education is the key to Success”. Ignorance of this slogan has pushed our community to a backward position. Illiteracy and poverty are the major problems that have stricken and due to poverty education is not affordable. This deprivation in turn leaves our community economically stagnant. One generation has to struggle to stop this cycle.
Facing this situation we started “Back to School” program, where by children of poor families who drop out of school for various reasons are given the opportunity to complete their education and earn a respectable position in the society. Even though our main aim is providing education to less fortunate children, we also indulge in other humanitarian activities like:
Ø Management of Educational Institutions
Ø Management of Hostel to provide accommodation for poor students
Ø Dropout School Programs
Ø Scholarships to advance the education of brilliant children
Ø Distribution of Books, Uniforms, Stationery & Abayas to Poor Students
Ø Channeling of Fitra, Zakath Funds and Qurbani Meat to the needy
Ø Medical aid for the needy through camps in remote areas
Ø Communal Harmony Programs
Ø Ambulance and Mobile Clinics

Ø Tailoring classes for Girls
