INDIAN AMBASSADOR MEETS T.A. AHAMED KABEER MLA
H.E. Satish Mehta, Ambassador of India to Kuwait met visiting Kerala Muslim League Member T.A. Ahamed Kabeer M.L.A and Ansari Thillengeri Kannur Youth Legaue Leader during their short visit to Kuwait . H.E.Satish Mehta exchanged views on Indo-Kuwait bilateral relationship and said that Indians consist of about 700,000, as highest number of expatriates’ community in Kuwait. Ambassador added that Indians are preferred because of low crime rate as well as the best preferred community in Kuwait by Arabs and Kuwaiti people. Ambassador reiterated that Embassy is very much concerned for the welfare of the expatriate Indians. Embassy has already set up shelter centers for run-away maids as well as run-way labourers who are having disputes with sponsors. Once they reach in the compound of Embassy nobody can touch our citizens. Also Legal clinic set up by Embassy is very helpful to resolve job disputes amicably. H.E. Satish Mehta who also attended the Mega Event as the chief guest of the “Kannur KKMCC’s Pride of Kannur 2011 award night’ inaugurated the Program on 16th Dec. IUML leaders were invited by Kannur KKMCC. President Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor, Chairman National Committee Sayid Nasir Thangal, KKP Ummer Kutty also accompanied the guests at the residence of Indian Ambassdor. A warm welcome was given by the Ambassador and meeting wound up with the sweet break-fast. Ghalib Al-Mashoor thanked H.E. Satish Mehta for the warm reception given to IUML Leades.
