India request Germany to further relax its visa regime to assist the movement of tourists and professionals, thereby improving the financial ties among the two nations.

The subject was discussed between the visiting Indian Commerce & Industry Minister, Mr. Anand Sharma and German Federal Minister fro Economics & Technology Mr. Philipp Roessler.

Mr.Anand Sharma was on a 5 day official visit to Germany.

The Union Minster stated that he hoped that there will be further generalization of t he visa rules & work permit methods among the two nations, which will assist in simple movement of corporate, professionals, and tourists .
