India Education Exhibition Inauguration
India Education Exhibition 2011, showcasing a comprehensive range of engineering, medical and other vocational courses as well as professional pre-college counseling and spot-admission applications, opened to a large crowd of students and parents at the United Indian School auditorium in Abbasiya on Friday, 2nd December. The two-day exhibition, which is open from 11am to 8pm, was inaugurated by Mrs. Susan Roy, Principal United Indian School.
Speaking about the exhibition Mrs. Roy said, “Educational exhibitions with the participation of reputed institutions help students and their parents to make informed choices with regard to higher education in India. The timely nature of this exhibition allows students looking at higher education to directly interact with educational professionals from India and become aware of the multitude of higher educational opportunities in the country. I hope that potential students and their parents will avail of this opportunity to gain detailed information about admissions, courses offered and the various amenities and hostel facilities available at the participating colleges.”
The exhibition, which highlights leading educational institutions from Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi, provides prospective students with the unique chance to gain relevant information from multiple professional colleges under one roof. The credibility and reputation of colleges and institution represented at the exhibition is vouchsafed by accreditation from independent evaluation establishments in India like the National Board of Accreditation for Technical Education and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council for Higher Education.
A particular aspect of the exhibition is the pre-college career counseling with spot admission applications being offered by the academicians present at the show, who have gained ample credibility and trust among parents and students as reliable partners providing dedicated career counseling and admission guidance to students in addition to facilitating admission application processes in colleges of reputation and accreditation. Through one-on-one pre-college counseling students will be able to evaluate their aptitude, abilities, talents and personalities to develop realistic academic and career goals.
By providing a venue to interact directly with management of reputed professional colleges and educational institutes in India, the exhibition helps parents and students garner a better understanding of higher educational process. The participating institutions are offering 100+ undergraduate and graduate courses such as MBBS, BDS, B.Arch, Engineering, Law Management, Pharmacy and various Post Graduate /PhD programs. In addition, all the exhibiting colleges offer quality education that emphasizes a personalized approach to teaching, at competitive prices compared to other reputed educational destinations around the country. Visitors to the exhibition can get detailed and accurate information on various undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate degrees from the seven exhibitors who between them represent over twenty educational establishments. Several of the institutions represented at the exhibition have scholarships and encourage student-exchange programs through collaborations with universities in United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia and China among others.
The growth of reputed educational institutions offering quality higher education is the result of dedicated management oversight, state-of-art facilities, experienced faculty and committed students eager to make their mark in a competitive world. Among reputable institutions participating in the exhibition are Sharda University from Greater Noida, New Delhi; PSNA College of Engineering and Technology from Dindigul, Tamilnadu; M.V.J. Medical College & Research Hospital, Bangalore, Karnataka; Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh; Park College of Engineering Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu; Srinivasa Academy of Education, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh and KMCH Group of Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.
Speaking on the sidelines of the exhibition, parents attending the exhibition remarked that NRI students, who are not in touch with the latest happenings on the college scene in India, are often confused by the amount of detail they have to assimilate before applying for admission. They were of the opinion that exhibitions like the India Education Exhibition are critical to providing students with proper counseling and information about various courses, eligibility criteria and other formalities involved in gaining admission to their desired courses at different colleges.
The two-day Indian Education Exhibition that runs till Saturday 3rd December is conceptualized by Synergy International and organized by Li Max Events India in association with Response Events and Exhibitions, Kuwait.
