The Indian Muslim Welfare Association – IMWA, Kuwait, is going to organize “IMWA EDUCATIONAL MEET – 2012’’ on Friday, 18th May 2012 at Salmiya Indian Model School (SIMS). This is going to be a great opportunity for Indian students to demonstrate their talents in the arena of Public Speaking and Essay Writing. The purpose of the MEET is to promote educational activities, counseling of students for career development and to create awareness of current affairs to benefit the Indian students.

H. E. The Ambassador of India to Kuwait Mr. Satish C. Mehta will be our Chief Guest. He will felicitate the Principals of all the participating schools as recognition of their contribution in providing Quality Education to the Indian Students in Kuwait.

The Educational Meet - 2012 will consist of the following main events beside other activities:

• DEBATE between thirty students (two from each school, one FOR the motion and the other AGAINST it.
Students of Standard X to XII are eligible (Nomination through schools only).
Topic: “WHETHER THE CURRENT EDUCATION SYSTEM IS CREATING A VALUE BASED SOCIETY OR NOT”

• ESSAY WRITING - 250 words
Students of Standard VII to XII – are eligible, with prior online registration. Topic would be given on the Spot

• Career Counseling
Students of Standard VIII to XII – are eligible, with prior online registration.
