If there is a will, there is a way: Mamata
New Delhi, June 21 (IANS) Having just completed her first month in office as West Bengal chief minister, Mamata Banerjee said Tuesday that her government had fulfilled 75 percent of its promises.
"Within a month it is not possible to do everything but we have ... fulfilled 75 percent of our commitment. If there is a will, there is a way," Banerjee said on her first visit to Delhi as chief minister.
"It is very difficult to restore normalcy within a month but we are trying our best. There was a breakdown in education, health, administration," she told reporters, referring to the former Left Front regime.
Banerjee heads a Trinamool Congress-Congress government in West Bengal. She ousted the 34-year old Left Front government in the April-May assembly elections.
